Was the Jeep Wrangler or Cherokee Trailhawk safe, or was the Subaru Cross Trek a better choice. In this video, I present the Ford Escape Hybrid and Chevrolet Equinox as low weight options as well as the new Jeep Cherokee Latitude Lux.
With the addition of the optional Active Drive II in the Lux, the Cherokee comes in under 4,000 pounds, my personal limit for toad weight.
