Tiffin Sells to Thor!

In a move that sees Thor Industries grasp on the RV industry just tighten, the company has purchased family owned Tiffin Motorhomes including Vanleigh 5th Wheel division for $300,000,000.

I think the thought was Bob Tiffin would always hold out from selling, but he’s decided it was time. The reports says that the Tiffin family will still run operations, the way the Miller family with Newmar is after it’s acquisition by Winnebago.

Tiffin is known as a consumer friendly brand, in which you could call the Tiffin office and Bob Tiffin would take your call to help solve your problems. Hopefully this will stay that way and Thor will leave them alone to continue their tradition of great customer service.
