My Camera, Video & Creative Gear
Here’s my favorite gear for shooting videos, landscape photography and just simply making memories.
What We Take in Our LTV
Wet Bay & Electrical Essentials
I wouldn’t enjoy RV’ing and travel to it’s fullest if I couldn’t capture what’s around me, both on video and in photos. Here is my choice for making videos and shooting photography. Keep in mind, the best camera you can have is the one with you. And that might just be your phone. But if you want to up your game, here’s what I use and suggest. *As an Amazon Associate, some links could produce a commission to Pagosa Supply Co
Canon EOS R & Lenses
I use this setup for both video and photography. I’m a longtime Canon shooter, so I have a lot of EF mount glass. This is where the adapter comes in so you can use the excellent EF lenses with the R mount on Canon’s next generation of cameras. I also use Canon’s M mirrorless line as it’s compact, the lenses are smaller and much easier for travel. The EOS R is a full frame camera.
Canon M50 & Lenses
The M Series is a compact, yet capable setup. I use this for when I don’t want to carry the larger EOS R & lens setup. I use this exclusively for video and many of my YouTube videos are shot with the Canon M50. The M50 is a Crop Sensor Camera.
Fuji X-T4 & Lenses
I love Fuji cameras and lenses as well. This set up, like the Canon EOS R above is perfect for video or photography. Unlike the full frame EOS R, the Fuji is a crop sensor system.
GoPro, Gimbals & Drones
I constantly use my GoPro and drones for great B Roll and sometimes for making full videos. The technology in these things are insane and cheap too!
Audio & Accessories
Great video is only great if you also have great audio. Here is what I use to capture audio both to camera and external recorder, such as an iPhone.
Tripods & Bags
A good tripod is sometimes not just a luxury, but a necessity for landscape photography as well as video. Here’s what I carry and am well pleased with.
